Transfer of Credit

CROWN COLLEGE is a special purpose institution. Students should be aware that transfer听of credit is always the responsibility of听the receiving institution. Whether or not听credits transfer is solely dependent upon听the evaluation policies of the receiving听institution. Any student interested in听transferring credit hours should check听with the receiving institution directly to听determine how many, if any, credit hours听can be transferred.

Course credits with a minimum grade听of 鈥淐-鈥 earned at other institutions are听eligible for transfer to a degree program听to the extent that the courses are听comparable to 精东影业 of the听Bible鈥檚 stated requirements. An official听transcript from the institution attended,听showing satisfactory course completion,听is required. The institution from which听credits are being transferred must be听considered of comparable academic quality.听Evaluation will be made by the academic听administration, and consideration will be听given to academic function, faculty, and听curricula used at the institution. Courses听taken at Bible institutes, etc. are subject听to review by the academic administration.听No more than 12 credit hours from an听approved correspondence school will be听accepted toward an undergraduate degree.

 

Undergraduate transfer students must听complete their last 36 hours in residence听before graduation. Graduate transfer听students must complete their last 50% of听a program at Crown Graduate School or听Crown Seminary.

For reasons of doctrinal distinctiveness听or emphasis, certain courses must be听taken exclusively at 精东影业 of听the Bible, although the student may听have completed a similar course with a听passing grade elsewhere. This applies to听the following courses:

      • CM121 鈥 Personal Evangelism
      • CM132 鈥 Living the Christian Life
      • BI211 鈥 Bible Doctrine I
      • BI212 鈥 Bible Doctrine II
      • ED322 鈥 Theology of Christian Education (if required in the student鈥檚 degree program)
      • Biological Science courses (if required in the student鈥檚 degree program, and if not completed at an institution holding a biblical view of creation)

All questions regarding the transfer of听credits should be directed to the dean听of the program of study in which the听student is enrolled.听

精东影业 students听are not required to take college听entrance exams, but those students听who have completed such exams听having earned a minimum required听score are eligible for transfer credit. The听following credit is awarded:

Credits earned at The 精东影业 may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by The 精东影业. You should obtain confirmation that The 精东影业 will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions to which you may want to transfer credits earned at The 精东影业 to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at The 精东影业 prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from The 精东影业 to another educational institution may be limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at The 精东影业 if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of The 精东影业 and of any other educational institutions to which you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at The 精东影业 of the Bible before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
